Paperboard Mill
Zinc Nacional Paperboard Unit is a company specialized in the manufacture of paper for drywall panels which started operations in May 1999, responding to the needs of our sister company, Panel Rey, as well as those of other customers in different markets of the paper industry.
With a current capacity of 7,000 tons per month, Zinc Nacional Paperboard Unit provides excellent quality paper at competitive prices in both the national and international markets.
We specialize in the production of Grayback paper and Ivory or Cream Face paper in different weights, as well as other specialty papers. Likewise, we manufacture liner paper for industrial and agricultural boxes, as well as semi-kraft paper, in different weights and calibers that the market demands.
Social responsibility.
We take care of the environment by using as raw materials the waste and leftovers of corrugated cardboard boxes, newspaper, printing presses and office paper, thus recycling more than 95 thousand tons of paper and cardboard per year; equivalent to more than one and a half million adult trees.
We are the only paper plant in Mexico that recycles 100% of the water it uses, thus avoiding sewage discharges.
