At Zinc Nacional, we reaffirm our commitment to the community of San Nicolás, with whom we maintain our unwavering dedication to open and respectful dialogue.
Today, we held a meeting with the state government and residents from neighborhoods such as Lomas del Roble, Mirador, Lázaro Cárdenas, Balcones de Anáhuac, Villas de Anáhuac, among others. During this meeting, we addressed all concerns raised with complete transparency.
Zinc Nacional has consistently demonstrated its commitment to the community by fully complying with all applicable environmental and legal regulations that govern our operations. With the commitments announced today, we are going beyond current requirements, taking concrete actions that accelerate key business decisions.
As part of the meeting, the creation of a follow-up and dialogue committee was proposed. This committee will include representatives from the community, government authorities, and Zinc Nacional. We are confident that this platform will be essential to building lasting agreements that benefit all parties.
Zinc Nacional will continue to operate with openness, responsibility, and deep respect for the people of this community, which has also been our home for over 70 years. This has been —and will continue to be—a priority for us.
