Following our previous communications, we would like to share the following updates:
1. We are collaborating with local and federal authorities. We have addressed the observations resulting from these proceedings and submitted the corresponding information, meeting each of the criteria.
2. We have successfully completed the removal of 100% of zinc oxide material from our operation yards.
3. This measure is also being extended to our subsidiary Meremex, a plant that has been shut down since 2023. As part of this process, we will complete the removal of its inventory in the next weeks.
4. A soil study is being conducted by a certified firm endorsed by PROFEPA, with extensive experience in the field, to analyze whether the presence of the product has caused any impact in that area.
At Zinc Nacional, we maintain a commitment to transparency and responsibility with the communities near our operations and will continue to maintain constant communication with all our stakeholders.
